99% of people mount infrared panels on the wall, where the old radiator was. It looks logical, but it’s the worst place you can put them. A wall-mounted panel radiates in only one direction. Its rays hit the opposite wall and are immediately blocked by the sofa, the table, the curtains or the bed. You heat a corridor of air while half the room stays cold.
Infrared does not work like a radiator. A radiator must heat the air, so it makes sense to put it low on the wall. An infrared panel heats solid surfaces with light rays. To be efficient, those rays must hit as much surface as possible. There is only one place in the room from where you can hit everything at once: the ceiling.

Without moisture, black mold dies within weeks. For stone houses, taverns, basements, blind bathrooms and bedrooms with mold behind the wardrobe, ceiling mounting is the only definitive solution.
